Eliademy and Kaltura Signs Technology Partnership to Bring Video Content Online

CBTec, maker of Eliademy – Finland’s MOOC platform provider and Kaltura – the open source video management solution has entered into a technology partnership to help businesses and institutions bring privately hosted video content online.

All through the evolution of eLearning and most recently, massive open online courses, pre-recorded video has come to play a major role in presenting the ideas of an expert to students. Videos, audio, images and many others all congregate to make a well-designed course. But very often, the most powerful of all is the video because of its high engagement attributes.

Kaltura, an Israeli company with its principal office in New York has been expanding its business in EMEA and Asia Pacific and the appointment of a technology partner in Finland will further strengthen this expansion. For CBTec, this is an opportunity to further establish itself as the global educational platform by helping businesses and institutions adopt all forms of video content in online education and other business processes. The target customers will be able to use Kaltura’s video solution in a variety of scenarios such as video assignments, lecture capture, digital libraries, public communication and even live online events.

As video management and publishing becomes a major part of education, organizations will have to inevitably get equipped with tools and resources to create video fast and easily without loosing focus on their core competencies.

CBTec is currently participating in the Websummit in Ireland where it has been recognized as one of the fastest growing start-ups in Europe.
